Types of Barrier Systems:
Freestanding Guardrails for Rooftop and Elevated Work
Freestanding guardrails are commonly installed on rooftops, mezzanines, stairs, access platforms, gangways and elevated access points to protect workers from unprotected edges. They are placed at leading edges, around skylights, and near HVAC units or other rooftop equipment that require maintenance close to fall hazards.
Non-Penetrating and Versatile Installation Options
To preserve roof integrity, many installations require non-penetrating solutions. Depending on the roof type and structure, guardrail posts can either be bolted to appropriate locations for a permanent installation and securely fitted into weighted bases that sit directly on the roof surface.
